TECHNICAL NOTE
It is essential to use the PS/2 power
cable provided with the Easyharddisk for the drive
to function properly. Follow the instructions
below:
1. Unplug your PS/2 mouse, if you're using one.
2. Plug the PS/2 mouse into the piggyback PS/2
connector on the PS/2 power cable.
3. Plug in the PS/2 power cable with the PS/2
mouse connected piggyback connector (if applicable)
into the PS/2 port on your computer.
4. Plug the other end of the PS/2 power cable
into the Easyharddisk.
5. Connect the USB cable provided to a USB port
on your computer.
6. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the
Easyharddisk.
At this point, the drive should function normally.
No additional drivers are needed for Windows XP,
2000 or Me. A driver, which is located on the
EasyDisk installation CD-ROM is required for Windows
98 Second Edition.
We do not guarantee compatibility with Windows
98 (First Edition); however, in many cases it
will function. Windows 95 and NT 4.0, or earlier
versions of Windows or DOS, do not support Easyharddisk.
